In 2019, the project “Towards the elimination of cervical cancer: intelligent and personalized solutions for cancer screening” was launched with the main objective of developing improved and personalized cancer screening methods within a sustainable healthcare system.

The project is set to run from 2020 to 2023. It is anticipated that the implementation of a more sophisticated cervical cancer screening model in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway will have a positive impact on the epidemiology of cervical cancer and public health in general.
